I am trying to set up new and existing iPad's, to have them supervised, so I wipe out the iPad's and use Apple Configurator to prepare them and supervise them. And I keep getting 'Configurator could not perform the requested action because 'iPad' has already been prepared.' 'Click ERASE to erase and prepare the device again.' So I try it one more time, ERASE, and I get the same message when trying to prepare so I can supervise them through airWatch. I am very frustrated. Can any one please help?

I'm struggling with Apple Configurator 2... Hope someone can provide a solution?
I have a new an installation of OS X EL Capitan 10.11.6 on my old MacBook Pro early 2011.
But trying to get and install Apple Configurator 2.4 from App Store it seems I need Sierra because EL Capitan is not supported anymore...
I don't want to upgrade to Sierra yet, is there a way to get the older Apple Configurator 2.x compatible to EL Capitan from App Store?
I used to have in my previously purchased tab 'Apple Configurator 1' but this old version is not compatible as well with EL Capitan either.
I have bought a Sever, but I don't want to use it just for a few configuration profiles I want to test.
Greetings,
Martin
