- Betrayal at Krondor
Betrayal at Krondor at its release date was the best game ever. At the time its graphics were amazing, its board was huge, the strategy engageing, and its character devolopment and story line enchanting. Almost a decade later the graphics seem palty and the board is just big. Old Betrayal at Krondor MS-DOS games online for PC and mobile on PlayOnline-Games.com. Based on Raymond E. Feist's Riftwar saga (and co-written by Feist himself), Betrayal at Krondor is a medieval fantasy-themed role-playing game set in the Riftwar universe. The story begins as Gorath, a moredhel (dark elf) renegade, who intended to warn the people of Krondor of the upcoming moredhel.
Description of Betrayal at Krondor
Betrayal At Krondor Game Show
One of the best RPGs ever made, Betrayal at Krondor is a classic example of games that get rave reviews yet do poorly in stores (at least until it was re-released on CD-ROM).
Flat 'paper-doll' digitized graphics is just about the only criticism you can level at this classic, which features an excellent plot written by best-selling fantasy author Raymond Feist (who also had considerable input in the design process), memorable characters, cool spellcasting interface, and an abundance of optional sub-quests and riddle chests. Sierra made the game freeware in 1997 to promote their own sequel Betrayal at Antara (which, without Feist' s input, is a pale shadow of its predecessor). Suffice to say that noone can claim to be an old-time RPGer if they have never set foot in Krondor :)
Note: Although the CD version is for sale for only $5 at E CD-ROM shop, it is the cut-down, 'Sierra Classic' version that includes neither the interview with Raymond Feist nor the CD music. It also includes no manual :/ You are therefore advised to either go buy it somewhere else, or download our near-complete CD rip below.

I was never a big fan of this series, they were OK, just over-rated and over-hyped. That said, worth playing if your a fan of story driven CRPGs.

Oh, wow. I'm excited just looking at the screencaps! I grew up on Betrayal In Antara and have long been curious to play its forerunner. Here's hoping the files run okay. Thank you for uploading this!

Game Review
Betrayal at Krondor is an adventure RPG game developed and published by Dynamix in 1993 for DOS. It was later ported to Windows in 2010.
Betrayal at Krondor is inspired by and based on the Riftwar novels written by Raymond E. Feist, who had a hand in the story and script for the game as well.
Taking place in the Riftwar universe, you must betray your own people to stop the leader of the Moredhel army from invading Krondor. Don’t worry, you won’t be on your own. You will get some help from a few of allies who can join your party. There are several races featured in the game, but they are primarily NPCs. You will only have access to 2 races for your party: Moredhel and Human. You will also only have 2 classes to choose from: Fighter and Magician. Each class will, of course, have its own strengths and weaknesses and will help you flesh out a strategy. Every playable character also has their own attributes and skills that will make them useful in different situations.
While traveling you can explore, plunder dungeons, collect items, and possibly find wordlock chests that require you to solve a riddle to open them. Though the game features a relatively open exploration scheme, certain things must be done or collected in order to continue the actual story. Much of the game is played from a first-person perspective, but it changes while either in combat or viewing the map. During combat, you will take part in a third-person turn-based battle.
