Bear in mind that Tumbleton is a huge hood and had a lot of SimPE work done on it, so I can’t guarantee in 100% that adding it as a subhood is safe for your neighborhood, as it wasn’t its design purpose; make sure to try it on a throwaway hood for several days to see if anything weird starts happening!
This is how I setup premade neighborhoods in The Sims 2. Starting fresh in Veronaville. Sims 2 Streams on Twitch 3x week! Once you downloaded the Neighborhood, you need to extract it into your Documents / The Sims 2 (Ultimate Collection) / Neighborhoods folder. Wakefield is numbered N007 so it shouldn’t cause an issue, but if you already have 7 neighborhoods, let me know and I can renumber it for you. After you did this you need to download the Custom Script. At the moment I have Desiderata combined with a downloaded neighborhood (Pitstop Valley) and a handful recreated Sims 4 sims. It's how I like my Sims 2 best - when a neighborhood grows stale, toss in a subhood, a custom sim or an (extracted and cloned) sim native to another 'hood to stir things up. Install instructions: Put directly in your Documents EA Games The Sims 2 Neighborhoods folder OR your -INSTALL LOCATION- The Sims 2 TSData Res UserData Neighborhoods folder. You'll need to regenerate the Neighborhoods folder in Documents for the new 'hoods to show up. I haven't tested option 2, but it should work.
You can download Wakefield HERE. (vN021) /mirrors: HERE, HERE (vN007)/
As of now, one of the lots (if not all of them) in Wakefield contain the DEBUG- Super Duper Hug interaction, so if you download it, that will show up in your game as well. I’m trying to figure something out to get these removed. keep this in mind before downloading
Requirements:
I built this ingame, so Wakefield requires ALL EP & SPs or Ultimate Collection.
Required mods:
Wakefield Custom Script, which you need for the custom scripted events to show up in 4 out of the 6 families can be found HERE. OR v1.1 HERE. They are basically small pop up texts like you know them from playing the Pleasantview premade families, however they do not include scripted outcomes of events like Mary-Sue getting fired from her job.
Sims 2 Neighborhood File Names
No regen mods. Wakefield comes without Goopy & Gang, it includes a few townies made by me, so there are a bit more chances for romance options. The neighborhood includes stray animals. If you want to keep it that way I would highly recommend getting notownieregen, antiredundancy, and nostrayrespawn.
IMPORTANT: As there is a Cemetery lot, there are gravestones. I had someone tell me they don’t show up in their game, so please please download THIS mod which helps you to save the neighborhood from corruption.
If you don’t need the Custom Scripting anymore remove that from the downloads folder and run Mootilda’s HoodChecker and that should solve the issue.
OR you can use THIS mod to place new gravestones and assign the ghosts to them in your game. Sorry guys I know this is an inconvenience but I don’t know of any other solution for this.

After you did this you need to download the Custom Script and copy it into your Documents / The Sims 2 (Ultimate Collection) / Downloads folder. Make sure you do this BEFORE first starting up the neighborhood! (The script makes the pop ups show up when you first start the game, so after you played the first rotation with each family, you can remove it if you want)
The same applies to the no regen mods if you decide to get them, which I highly recommend :)
Wakefield description:
Wakefield is a small town, which was established almost a 100 years ago. Since then, the population sunk - lot of the residents moved to big cities. But the people who still occupy this lovely town are exciting enough to keep the town full of life.
Families (in recommended play order):
Burns - Rosemary and Cathy Burns live on their own after the recent passing of Rose’s loving husband - Adam, who died in a workplace accident. While she tries to support Cathy so she can overcome the hardships of life, she can’t shake off the feeling, that something isn’t as it seems.
Larson - Roy was never the worrying type of guy. Will Wakefield give him the excitement that he needs?
Morales - As the son of the former Mayor of Wakefield, and in general being a nice and caring person, Zac earned quite the reputation in the small town. Now he lives a peaceful life with his dog, Bean. But what next?
Underwood (Kimbra) - After her father’s death, Kimbra decided to leave the old family home where she couldn’t find the acceptance she needed. Now she has to shape her own life - how will she do it?
Sims 2 Neighborhood Terrain
Perkins - Brad Perkins was always a hard worker. He defined a goal, and worked until he earned it. That determination is what made it possible to steal Sara’s heart. Sara was always the center of attention - how will she deal with her new life in the small town of Wakefield?
Underwood - Kirk was always bit of a weirdo - life wasn’t treating him well most of the times. But he found Brooke and now has a happy family. Brooke always loved that in him - she thought he is a caring and although a little goofy, nice guy. They are living happily with their three kids now - but is that enough for Kirk?
